I am appalled at the service of this dealer and cannot believe they considered what they did acceptable. He mentioned to Andy how they are paying for a rental for us & Andy replied, with a very condescending attitude, “Well I’M not paying for it,” essentially stating that he could care less how long we are without our car because Honda is paying for our rental, not him. My husband called last week & asked for an update. Today, June 19th, it is still sitting at the auto body shop because Moon Honda is telling us that the part they broke is backordered and there is not even an ETA. They then told us to take it to an auto body shop to get a quote for the repair. The mechanics there attempted to jam the piece into the bumper, causing it to bend & bulge & used VISIBLE GLUE to attempt to correct the problem. My husband went & got Andy, the service manager, to have him look at it & he acted like it was no big deal & said “well that’s the best I can do, we aren’t an auto body shop & I did you a favor by not charging you.” The vehicle is under warranty anyway. My husband went to pick it up and noticed that the problem was not resolved at all, but made significantly worse. I got a call later saying they addressed the issue & it was ready to be picked up. After I sent pictures of the issue, she assured me they’d resolve it. I got a call the next day stating they didn’t know what I was talking about and they couldn’t “get it to pop out”. I dropped my car off at service center on May 30th, with the appointment being May 31st. I took my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid vehicle to have a plastic part on the front bumper secured, as it had been continually popping out after driving since I had first purchased the vehicle.
